the grand finale

This could be it.

Today, the final states have their say in this primary season when voters in South Dakota and Montana go to the polls. Thirty-one delegates are at stake in tomorrow's contests, with over 200 superdelegates still undeclared.

Rumor has it that several superdelegates are set to declare for Sen. Barack Obama tomorrow night, hoping to help him clinch the nomination.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to suspend her campaign soon. Tonight, she gathers with supporters and major fundraisers in New York City for her speech following the election results.

Like it or not, we may have our Democratic nominee tomorrow night. Clinton and Obama are both strongly committed to electing a Democratic ticket in November, and so are we. It's time to present a united front for the Democrats and face Sen. John McCain together.
