Dallas County

If you are aware of another proposition on any ballot in North Texas that isn't listed here, please let us know in a comment! We'll be happy to add it. Inform yourself and vote!

BTW, the Denton RC Article linked to above mischaracterizes Tim Barnwell's position with regard to Healthcare. It uses the word "nationalize", which is just wrong in many ways. It implies confiscation and conscription, which could not be further from what Barnwell is suggesting.

Read more about Tim Barnwell's Healthcare Ideas

Probably an innocent mistake in the choice of words by the reporter, but as we know words carry a lot of meaning. Universal and comprehensive healthcare is NOT about socialized medicine or nationalization - it's about single-payer (Government) and multi-provider (Free Market).

Here's another link with a little commentary about the Richardson liquor ballot.

There is an area around Buckingham that is zoned for liquor and beer sales, which is technically Richardson. I am confused as to why this area is different from the rest of Richardson. Any thoughts?
